Clareview Town Centre
Clarity Development Advisory was engaged by Alldritt Land Corporation to assist in the rezoning of a 1.5-hectare corner lot. Located in the northeast neighbourhood of Clareview, our experienced team prepared an application to rezone the property from RF5 (Row Housing Zone) to RA7 (Low Rise Apartment Zone). This rezoning will enable the development of four-storey multifamily buildings, catering to the community's growing housing needs.
Benefitting from its close proximity to the Clareview LRT Station and Transit Centre, as well as shared pathways and bike routes, this transit-oriented site presents residents with easy access to nearby commercial amenities and the Clareview Community Recreation Centre.
Our dedicated team conducted a thorough analysis of the zoning regulations and examined the project scope in its entirety. This involved reviewing planning documents and proposing amendments to the Clareview Town Centre Neighbourhood Area Structure Plan, overseeing the entire rezoning process.
In mid-2023, Edmonton City Council approved the RA7 rezoning with unanimous support. This achievement now enables additional housing opportunities through low-rise multi-unit housing in the Clareview neighbourhood.
