Glengarry Revitalization

Located in Glengarry, a neighbourhood in northeast Edmonton, the current site hosts a low-intensity medical and commercial building established in 1974. Despite plans being approved in 2021 for the site's full redevelopment in 2021, the current owner envisioned continued viability of the original building, with the opportunity for new additions and uses.

To meet the owner's vision for the reuse of the structure, Clarity Development Advisory rezoned the site from a DC2 to the new CN Zone (Neighbourhood Commercial). The CN Zone will permit the building to continue to serve the surrounding community with commercial activity and services, while bringing new opportunities to an under-utilized parcel.

In early 2024, Edmonton City Council unanimously approved the rezoning, marking a significant milestone in the project's progression.
