South Park Centre

South Park Centre is one of Edmonton’s largest commercial sites, located between Calgary Trail and Gateway Boulevard. Site-specific zoning was created in the 1980s for the original development of the site, but had not been updated to include current land uses or standards in the last 25 years.

Lux Leaf Cannabis approached Clarity Development Advisory with the intent to open a cannabis retail shop on the site. Clarity led the rezoning of the entire site to permit Cannabis Retail Sales, while also modernizing zoning in a new Site Specific Development Control Provision (DC2).
